I had extensive scars and wanted to turn something ugly into something beautiful.I had a little poem put their with a bunch bright flowers and hearts. my one daughter finds it embarrassing my other daughter thinks its cool.they are in their late 20's early 30's
I don't think any guy can understand the psychological trauma of a mastectomy and it's physical and mental scars.
I suggest that you do whatever pleases you and everyone else be damned.
It sounds beautiful. Some people wear their scars proudly like battle scars, and others choose to cover them up. There's no right or wrong way to go about this. What matters is your happiness and how you find resolve. :)
I don't know how I missed your post so apologies for the late response.
A lover of mine had a beautiful tattoo done after a mastectomy. She did die a few years later of another cancer but in the meantime was proud to show it off and have me and her other lovers stroke and kiss it. Oh I do miss her!
Just be proud and accept who u are. I.e. ugly. It's not like u were ever pretty to begin with.
I'm thinking of getting a tattoo at some point to try cover up my scars, I think it's a good idea. Does it work in hiding the scars well enough?
