Is it normal sometimes my comments won't show up?

It's not a big problem, I'm just curious if this happens to anyone else on certain questions whilst using the is it normal website.

I'll type out a comment, hit post and see it up there with the other comments. If I hit refresh or return to the same post, the comment has disappeared. If I retype it the same thing happens.
Teflon posts.

    See, I just posted the word pe do ph ile and it refused to post after pressing refresh.

    Some words are auto-moderated, and will not show up until approved later. For example, any comment with the word pe do phi le will not be visible until later.

    (Yes, I had to space out the word because if I didn't, it wouldn't appear.)

    It's happened to me once or twice, I make a comment and it doesn't show up, but it shows up a few days later. Weird.

    Comments don't show for me when I post over-the-top shit the filters on INN don't like. Other then that no problem after refresh.

      You mean some stuff automatically gets filtered out if it's too 'offensive' or whatever? I didn't know that.

    Maybe there is internet connection problem sometimes. It happened to me once and found out that it was the reason.

    It never happened to me before sorry, but a rare occurence happened where my comment on a post also appeared on another wrong post at the same time. That's just embarrassing so I delete them right away. IIN is high sometimes.
