A lot of times I will see a comment from a user I've never seen comment before, but then I never see another comment from that user again. Is this normal and why is this?
It means they have better things to do than waste time on this depressing website.
People make a general search for a habit they do and IIN comes up. (Probably how most all users on here found this site) They see a post from someone in a similar situation and want to comment on it, but they are not interested in what ails others just about finding out more information about their own situation.
Also this is not a normal forum style website so most people don't come back to see updates or others replies.
IIN is a bit addictive, so I think a lot of people (myself imcluded) browse and post a bit, then quit it for a while, like a bad habit.
they do it to fuck with your mind!
Now we should kill them all!!!! or not.
Some people post very rarely and I never know if they're actually gone or not. People like Josie_57, Legion, CruelHeartz. And some people actually now seem to be gone. Like jensapa and Cobrakitnu. I could also name about a dozen people who signed up, posted, and never came back. I don't know why.
I myself left for three months and only remembered this site for random reasons. If I'd have been distracted or something good was on TV that night, I probably wouldn't be here at all.
