Is it normal some plain people think they're beautiful?

I think it's crazy that some borderline good looking people think they are gorgeous. I am studying and in my class there are two students (one girl and one guy) who think they are so beautiful. They even say it and make out they're only joking!
Confidence is one thing but that shit gets old real quick. It's only going to take a couple of people to burst their "Look at me" bubble. Rant over.

U mad? 12
U jealous? 13

Why do you care; what difference does it make?

Well, confidence is never a bad thing. Unappealing to you, but they actually may be really really ridiculously good looking; we will never know...

When people feel the need to make their judgments of others (...for some reason....) public and are "hung up" on those who are conceited... You have to wonder why the person cares at all -- If they really are that plain looking, why do they have a post dedicated entirely to them?

    It's not really a rant.

  • Who gives you the right to determine whether they're good looking or not? Your opinion isn't fact, its your opinion.

Yeah, arrogance is always annoying and it can affect anyone.

Well I guess it's good that they have high selfesteem. There was this girl in my school that is still fugly as hell and she thinks she's the sexiest chick alive. But in the end does it really matter what we think? After all they're going to go to bed at night thinking they're gorgeous. And they'll probably wake up thinking it still. In the end "beauty" is a rather vauge opinion-based term.

I think it's good that they are confident about themselves

  • I concur. I went to school with a girl who thought she was absolutely stunning just because she was a petite little blonde with blue eyes and pink rosey cheeks. Ofcourse all the 13 year old boys liked her, but when we got to like the 9th grade she was made fun of for being a flat chested goodie two shoes paris hilton wannabe. Guys became more mature and started liking girls with a figure, who had overall more attractive looks and personalities than malibu barbie.
