I walk in an area with lots of foot traffic every day. Tons of attractive ladies off to work or shopping - some days, I get overwhelmed with the amount of direct eye contact I get and the "you're yummy" look; other days they actually turn their heads to deliberately not look at me - it's like I turned into the Elephant Man.

I don't have a creeper vibe nor do I stare - actually I wear the same pair of shades every day. I've looked for variations in my appearance from as a possible variable and even tested this out by wearing the same clothes for a few days in a row to see if that was it. Nope. I'm also very even keeled, I'm almost certain I give off the same vibe every day.

One other thing, being a smaller city, I say "Hi" to almost everyone I pass on the sidewalk. Just about everybody else does. It gets tedious after the 80th "Hi" that day.

    "You're" and "ur" in the same title! Sacrilege! One or t'other please! :P

    Anyway, I bet it's not their response that changes but your perception of their response. Perhaps on some days you pick up on positive indications of attraction from other people (or in fact perceive ones which aren't there), and on other days you pick up only on negative indications of attraction (or again perceive ones which aren't there). In other words, I bet it's mostly in your head!

    i have noticed this as well and still no matter what the older ones are the ones whose looking at me and then they smile then i wave.

    @disthing - Ha! It was a title length restriction that forced me to use "UR".

    Well, today was an "ON" day. The looks from the ladies was a huge ego boost. Yeah, I know - one's feelings shouldn't be dictated by others.

    Wish I had the guts to act on these flagrant opportunities!

    Yeah, I have those "you're hot, you're ugly" days too. I have yet to find out what the change is.

    perception is an interesting thing. and auras. somedays the way the lights shining, the way your features look at a particular moment, or a positive thought in your head will project you more favourably and sexier than on other days when maybe you have a little too much on your mind or are trying too hard in vain to be noticed. I think there are a million different subtle things that effect your appearance but don't sweat it dude you'll be more attractive that way.
