Is it normal so many 404 pages?

I keep clicking on things here like on the Popular list and the sight says its 404 which I know what they means but why is it happening so much and IIN?

    The last 3-4 I tried to post got declined and for no good reason. I quit posting for the most part due to that.

        The last 2 were philosophical crap and the third was one I actually spent a lot of time on about opinions on common phrases. It's not a huge deal. I mean, whatever...if they were not worthy then ok, I just don't get it. It's more wondering the reason why than getting it published.

    It's not normal at all. I made a great post about how I pick my cat up by the scruff of her neck with my mouth and they 404d it.

      it's probably because thousands will read it and think it's "totally hilarious" and get their faces mauled off because you wanted to be funny for 2 seconds.

    I hate how the mods let posts about incest and molestation stay up and somewhat normal posts suddenly get deleted for seemingly no reason. My guess is that vindictive trolls report normal posts and the mods hastily delete them without checking the contents.

    Anything of any worth whatsoever, i.e. politics or morals etc get deleted right away and nonsense posts are kept up about sniffing panties or having sex with relatives.

    This is the basic reason why I just spend the day acting stupid and trolling the site. There isn't a point to taking it seriously, the last 5 or 6 times I've answered a post seriously it just gets deleted a couple hours later.
