so my one friend's wife always gets the punchline and stories wrong and words to songs wrong.I don't get why he married her.she embellishes too. She said it is her point of view and she has an imagination and is not meaning to lie but she is a liar and doesn't stick to cold hard facts.Everyone thinks she is funny but me.So I cornered her and DID AN INTERVENTION . I called a liar in front of her children and her husband. and she went in the bathroom cried her head off and got so tense she threw up. I just wanted to help not depress her.

    I know people like this, and yes it can be annoying. But what made you think you had a right to corner her and accuse her of shit in front of her family? They live with her, they know who she is. This is your friends wife, not yours.

    You don't know why he married her? I guess he didn't get the memo where he was required to run that by you first. Unless you are the one marrying her, you don't need to know why.

    My brothers wife is an ugly obnoxious moron. I would never marry her. But I am not my brother, and apparently, he would. That's his life and his business, and I have enough respect for my brother to treat his wife with respect when I am with them. Maybe you should show your friend the same respect and mind your own business.

    Even if that's true, why would you want to humiliate someone in front of their family like that? Not cool! The better thing would've been to try to confront her personally about it. If she doesn't get the message, then you just leave it alone. I've known many people who like to make up a lot of BS stories, but I never felt the need to call them out on it because I have respect for their feelings.

    Ex wife was like this..Would get song lyrics wrong all the time (would say it was You Look Like A Lady instead of the correct, Dude Looks Like A Lady, for example) and sayings wrong. Would say, regarding an older guy dating a younger woman "That's rocking the cradle" when it's actually, robbing. Artists, like Harry Chapin? Would say Harry Chaplin. And it went on and on.

    I'd correct her, and, it would start an argument or challenge. Even printed out song names and lyrics, and she'd deny it. I know she was also dyslexic as a kid, and, not to speak ill of the deceased, but..Her parents were quite the uneducated hillbillies who never bothered to get things right, but..I always felt she made no effort to at least try. Forget about spelling..Wow..She spelled like a 6 year old, if that.
