Is it normal shady dealings with car salesman

Okay so I was planning on buying this car at a dealership, told him what I had to put down and yadda yadda

2 or 3 days before I was supposed to go in and buy it (so like 5 days beforehand I initiated contact) I tell him I change my mind

Right away he gave me like a noise a 16 year old girl makes when she's presented with something not so welcome and said "well I coulda sold this car by now" and blah blah blah

Finally get my little down payment back to have it reserved, after having to talk to him again, a few days later

Now it's a month later and I've gotten almost ten "credit denied" letters

Like is this mother fucker trying to play me? I just sent him a long text that basically said "I'm about to pursue legal action" like why would I be getting all these letters so late, and literally like 2 or 3 every week, like he's sending the info out 2-3 times a week

This fucking asshole is sending my shit out because I didn't wanna buy the fucking car! We hadn't even met in person, literally called him, put 300 down to hold it, and I changed my mind before going in to see them.

I kept telling myself "it's probably the last one" but they keep coming! And each one affects my credit!

I live in US, NC if that makes a difference. I want it to stop and I want to lay this wanna be trailer park bitch boy out to pasture, what can I do

Keep the letters, save all records of your communication, and contact a lawyer to see if it's a case.

I seriously do not know how car salesmen sleep at night. They must go through some sort of asshole training. It's unbelievable.

I wonder if this is something you may be able to dispute on your credit report? I've never done something like that but I know it's a thing.. might be as simple as making a phone call to someone and explaining that all these credit checks are coming from the same (malicious) source, and that you didn't authorize it.

I think he is trying to lower your credit score. Id go to the dealership and throw those letters on the counter and ask him straight up "you are trying to lower my credit score because I didnt buy that car arent you? This is definitely from you. This is some girly shit right here youre doin".

Id also contact the better business bureau Id leave reviews on his google page explaining what hes doing to warn others.
