Is it normal puttingborax/bleach all over everything make people sick

we don't have bugs or anything. I just want to make sure we don't get any. So I put it all over the dish drainer the blender cups utensil the toothbrushes shower the floor in big piles. My sister and neice have been complaining of no energy throwing up and feeling drunk and a bad taste in her mouth after eating at my house. I never feel sick. we need to be clean.This is the only way.is it possible she could be imagining feeling sick.
