Iin; poop or chocolate, mocha or dirt?

I'm a black girl age 18. Let me start by saying that my skin is the color of a milk chocolate bar or coffee with only a bit of half & half. What gets to me some days is that I know that people who are racist be they white, black or any other race, think of my skin as poop or dirt (which may be somewhat good since dirt, *soil as I've learned grows food). My poop is normally green tinted and smells as poop should. I'm not green tinted! I smell like coconut oil! And other races are more likely to have green eyes anyway. I could attack white people or even Melanesians and say that honey blonde hair looks like piss, but wouldn't you rather think of honey? I sure would. Honey, silken gold or sunshine. Is my train of thought normal? Does anyone else ever think about their features like this whether in a positive light or a negative one?

Den tell dem yellow people that dey from outer space. You got to STAY positive. Da Prezdent is a black dude. How do you think he did it, by getting discouraged? Ain't nuffin wrong with coffee color anyway.

        • Do you realize that speaking in racial stereotypes adds nothing to the debate...?

Well OK. But speaking from an African American viewpoint adds plenty to the debate. Do you realize what President Obama would say about your whining? He would say nobody gets anywhere without working smart, and unless you work your ass off you don't get any smarter.

            It ain't rocket science.

            • Your approach wasn't very good if you think that's the only way African Americans speak. Also I'm already doing so. But being put down for a skin tone has nothing to do with how hard I work.

Soil is what grows food, as it's a little living ecosystem. Dirt is dead soil.

    You're being silly.

    • I'm sorry u.u. I'm just sad about the negativity I see online and sometimes irl in regard to my skin tone.
