Is it normal people think i'm 30 when my hair is up but 19 when my hair is down

Why is this?

I just started a job a few weeks back, no one knew my age until today but only because I had been wearing my hair up in a tight bun and today I wore it down and nearly all my coworkers said woww you look like a teenager! So I asked them (nearly all of them) how old they think I am and they said they were confused because they thought I was 30 but with my hair down now I look like I'm 18 or 19...

Like what is the difference? I don't get how just putting my hair into a bun vs letting my hair down is any difference?

But they all said it...even my clients said it! is it normal for hairstyles to make a difference?

Yeah different hairstyles can make you look older or younger 28

    I saw a girl doing a hair tutorial on YouTube once and she was sort of ugly with her hair down, but once she put her hair up, she was gorgeous. It was so bizarre! And some girls look terrible with their hair in ponutails, but once they let their hair down, they're pretty. Same thing goes for age. Hair makes a difference.

    Apparently I look younger with my hair down instead of up although I don't see any difference. I also found life a lot easier when I went blonde, people being more friendly.
