Is it normal people say weed does not impair them?
I am pro-marijuana and smoke it on occasion, but I do not know why people claim it helps them so much. It makes sense that it can work as a pain killer and possibly other things, but some claim it causes them no impairments and even say it helps them function better. Many have claimed it causes no driving impairments either. Another claim is that it makes people more creative. I wonder if it is effecting me differently or if people are unaware of its effects. I will mention some impairments I notice. It highly distorts my senses and perceptions, which is an obvious impairment for driving, or most other things; it impairs my short term memory, often I forget what I am doing or saying as it is happening; and it makes it harder to hold onto thoughts.
Also I am a musician, artist and writer and drugs have never made me more creative. If you need drugs to be creative, you are not being creative.
It seems people use these excuses as reasons to justify their marijuana use. I like to smoke it sometimes as well, but I will admit it does not help me with anything and I only do it for fun.
