It's actually really weird I only have my profile picture and I purposely have a filter over it to hide my identity so no one who knows me knows it's me so it's slightly blurred but I keep getting messages asking me out... Some have videos some don't. These aren't "obvious" strange people either as they look and act normal in their videos.

the last message I got was "Hey beautiful I keep seeing your comments on tiktok and I thought I'd ask you out. Want to go to dinner with me tomorrow night 7pm? If 7 isn't good let me know and we can work out a different time or day" and had a few ask me to meet them at a restaurant tonight..

What the what? Lol I don't have any videos they never even texted me! Is TikTok the new tinder?

    It's normal. I used to get the same shit on Facebook. Chances are it's either a desperate person or a scammer. Just ignore it. XD

    I would say it's either automated messages from bots, very desperate people, or possibly very shady people who are up to no good. I definitely wouldn't take up any online stranger's offer to go on a date, especially if you've never had any previous interaction.

    I'd be a bit wary of anyone who sees a single picture and goes straight to ask you out at night. If you'd even entertain one of these requests, I would suggest a public place in broad daylight.
