Is it normal nothing feels real, it's like i'm watching tv

Just every day life, nothing feels real to me anymore, it's been like this for a few years now, when I watch videos online of real events I don't see them as if they're real, It feels like I'm watching television (even in every day life)

I was born with Aspergers Syndrome, and I think I may have developed schizophrenia too.

Maybe. But I think you should first read up the symptoms of depersonalization and disassociation because it sounds very similar.

Stop eating ass-burgers and you should see your symptoms clear up within a week.

    • I'm actually a healthy eater, I don't consume any more than 1200 calories in a day.

I agree with Sketcher18. Seeing a therapist might be really helpful.

  • I have diagnosed aspergers and schizoaffective. I experience the same thing. I think its common for derealization to occur with an autism/schizo mix. I've met others like us and they all describe a similar experience but we're all quite different in different ways as well. I actually posted a similar post recently. Derealization is actually quite common and comes with other things as well such as ptsd or depression. The way I see it is we are just the ones who realize nothing is real but perception. Heres the post I posted. http://isitnormal.com/story/is-it-normal-to-feel-like-nothing-is-real-162780/

I really know how you feel, I sometimes feel like I'm the only real person and everything else is fake, almost like a dream. I suffer from depression, not to mention anxiety,so that might have something to do with it.

I think you should see a therapist,
I'm not trying to say that you're insane or anything, but it might help to talk about it with someone.
