Is it normal not to leave your house for two months because you are fat?

Hello, over my exams i told my friends that i did not want to socialize because I wanted to knuckle down and revise for my exams...LIES. The truth is that I felt so disgusted at my self for going from a size 10 to 14 that i didn't want to leave until I had lost at least a dress size.

Is this normal or too obsessive please help.

Think about it this way: The more you sit around the house being inactive, the fatter you will get.

No. It's not normal. Your weight will fluctuate your whole life. You need therapy to get over this. If your self-hatred is preventing you from living your life, you need it. Badly. This is what I do for a living, so please, get help.

This is normal. But you need to get out there!! Don't let people's harsh judgments impair you. You know who you are and strangers don't know you..so what they say or how they act really doesn't matter at all. btw sweetie, size 14 is not fat

Size 14 isn't fat! Wish I was that slim, I'm size 18-20 and I'd prefer not to be, but I don't agonise about it.

I agree with the poster who suggested therapy

It's not fat but if you weren't comfortable at that size then I hope you managed to lose it again ok. I put on weight sitting around studying or stressing but lose it again once that time is over and I get back to normal activity.
