Is it normal not to be worried about russia

Wake me up when Russia invades Poland or another NATO ally. Putin's support of Assad and his annexation of Crimea is disturbing, but neither of those things really affect my country, The United States

Are you the same guy who asked the same question about North Korea? Not worrying about North Korea is reasonable, but Russia? Why don't you stop fantasizing about America's military power and hit the books.

I'm the same guy. I don't worry about Russia because of MAD

mutually assured destruction was relevant during the Kennedy administration, nowadays Russia has more than enough power and control to give Syrians and others the ability to carry out attacks against Americans through satellite sources

          IMHO MAD still applies today

No, I'm legitimately apathetic at the moment to whatever Putin is doing. Again, let me know when he assaults a NATO state. I'm concerned about the RF but I'm not very worried

So far the Russian military has proved itself to be remarkably efficient at bringing down a civilian airliner and slaughtering civilians in the Ukraine.
Their efforts in Syria have so far have proved to be a joke.
Just like Putin, a lot of bluster and no substance.
