Is it normal not losing inches or ibs, but i look better and clothing fits?

I've been exercising and eating really healthy for a month now. I haven't lost any inches and lost less than 5lbs! My clothes fit better and people have asked if I've lost weight, so something is obviously changed. How is this possible?! I don't get it? No loss, but look different?! It's interesting, but frustrating because I don't know what I need to work on or if I've plateaued.

Maybe you've lost weight in areas you don't measure (like your face). Maybe you just look healthier (through having a healthier diet). Maybe you've lost fat but put on muscle (so your overall weight hasn't changed much, but your condition has).

Whatever it is, congratulations on what you've done so far. If you feel you've plateaued, maybe you need to gradually start increasing the exercise you already do.

Yep it's definitely your face... that's where you lose weight first!

That makes sense! I noticed my husband's face looks thinner today and made me realize everyone is asking me probably because they're looking right at my face. Thanks! We've both worked really hard! Now I think it's time to change it up.

If your a bodybuilder i'd say that you do loose fat and your gaining muscle, wich is heavier then fat, but you sound like a woman so i can't really tell :/

Muscle is more dense, not heavier...a pound muscle is not heavier than a pound of fat. A pound is a pound frank123.
