Is it normal not getting used to my preferred pronouns

I'm non binary/ftm and I'm only out to my best friend (only since some weeks ago). She calls me he/him, wich is the way I asked her to call me. But I'm having a hard time getting used to it. Maybe It's bc she is the only one to call me that, while everyone else calls me "she". But it feels weird. I was wondering if you would think it's normal because I've seen a lot of trans people who say the change just felt natural, and I don't feel that way. And btw, we speak spanish, so there's no neutral pronouns like they/them.

Anything big like that will feel like a change, even if it’s a change that you want. If it’s a “bad weird” you might want to take some more time to figure out what you really want.

I wouldn’t focus on what other people say about their relationship with their identity or how they experienced their situation.

Understanding and coming to terms with your identity should be a very personal thing. So focus on what you feel and think, and don’t worry if it doesn’t “line up” with how it is for others.

When I told people I was trans they did that. It annoyed me. I wasnt transitioning yet, after I transitioned it took very little time to adjust to that

Dont worry about it! There are tons of people who will not use your pronouns because of their principles including me.

I suppose you will get used to it. I mean it took me a while to go back to my first name when I got discharged from the military (very used to being just addressed by my last name)

Pronouns are for context of the individual as long as they are within normal English perimeters I'll play along in the delusion. I do not refer to those in between as zer or xe.
