I really have no problem with gay people. Wherever you find love and affection is your business, not mine. My best buddy at school is going into the coast guard as a pilot this summer, and marrying his boyfriend later this year. Awesome guy. My sponsor at confirmation (I'm catholic) a number of years ago has two kids with his partner (by a surrogate, obviously). But really flamboyant guys with bad hair, tight pants, and who talk like girls (100% fine if you're a girl, but these guys aren't) annoy the hell out of me. I don't know why. Maybe it's because they're pretending to be something they're not. Maybe it's because they're using their sexuality as an excuse to just be an annoying fuckwit (which, IMO, explains San Francisco). Maybe it's because they're short-changing their own unique personality (of which their sexual preference is only a small part) by throwing GAY in the face of everyone they meet. I don't know. How 'bout it, IIN? Am I alone here?

    Excellent story, I myself dont understand why gay guys do act like that. Almost as if they have to put it in everyone's face that they are gay, and everyone has to be okay with it. I mean I dont give a shit, you wana be gay, go ahead be gay. I dont want it in my face, any more then I want to be around some douche that thinks he is a ladies man either. But I dont understand why the ladies man is looked at like an asshole (which they are), but the gay guy is looked at as "cute" and "good for him for being himself". How does that make sense? Especially when you consider that the gay guy is acting more feminine then a heterosexual female would act. Biologically speaking how can the male (with testerone, penis and testicles) no matter sexual orientation, act more feminine then the female (with far more estrogen in their bloodstream).

    I also wana stress I think being gay is fine, and that I know a couple very cool gay people, who you would never know are gay unless they told you, AND would have no problem getting a girl should they have wanted it.

    I'm with you dude. I don't care if you're gay or not, that's your business....blah, blah, blah. But i'm pretty sure they didn't talk with a lisp before they came out or have an interest in interior decorating. Really they are only perpetuating stereotypes of homosexuals, as if now that they are publicly gay they must act a certain way to fit that image. Like you, one of my best friends from college came out, but you would never know he was gay unless he told you. And if that's truly who you are that's fine, but i think that is typically not the case. Everything is said to be fabulous with a limp wrist. Homosexuality is an attraction to the same sex not a complete alteration of image. I don't think i'm quite as passionate as you on the matter, but i can see your point.

      He clearly knows that since one of his close friends is gay and that is getting married (or has). Also, I can't blame the guy. I've had many homosexual friends (mostly lesbians, but I've had a couple of gay friends too), yet I can't get over the fact that I hate when gay people or just guys in general speak in that high pitch voice and try to sound like a girl, it's annoying and unnecessary. Yet what really annoys the hell out of me (and I mean I really abhor it) is not the tight pants nor the flashy clothes, it's the cross dressing. It's is the most disgusting thing a guy (I did not particularly say gay's) can do. If you haven't noticed I really abhor tranny's. If a guy really wants to cross dress and sound like a complete girl they should get a sex change or whatever the surgery is called.
