Is it normal new recurring dream about birthdays

Ive started having a completely new recurring dream.
I dream every single night that my moms birthday is coming up (which it isnt in real life) and I have to find a gift so I go on the hunt for birthday gifts. They are not good dreams. Usually in the dream I happen to be out of town on her birthday and cant make it back on time, or I dont find any good gifts.

Tonight I dreamt it was my birthday and my mom was really mean to me. I crawled up in my bed in the dream and cried and cried. It was just horrible.

Why am I dreaming this all the time????

    To me this dream means a desire to relive your childhood which wasn’t good, and to make amends with your mother. For a start, before you go to sleep, program your own happy ending to the dream. Remember it in all detail but the find your ideal gift and give it to her.

      I'm on very good terms with my mom.
      Would make more sense if it was about someone else thats why its so confusing

    I've had a similar dream. It was about my parents were going travelling and told me to come. I went but then I'd randomly forget something I wouldn't need (Snowboots for going to the Caribbean) and go back for it. I'd arrive back in the airport but then the dream would end.

    They just randomly went away I guess
