Is it normal my writing & reading is getting worse?

I never really had a tough time reading or talking, hell, I developed really fast, and was one of the few kids who could write coherently at my preschool. But recently, things are arising.

It could be cause of "that damn phone" or maybe I'm just imagining things or making my mind do this but, I cant type or write, or even read as well as before.

Whenever I try to write a d on paper, I sometimes end up writing a g. A lot of the time I dont know how the fuck direction a g even goes.

When I was in kindergarten, I went to a pretty poor military school, in which I was in the gifted kid room. I read very well, and could read very fast for a 5 year old, the people who tested my reading said it was like, grade 6 or something, but there was one thing I always struggled with, and that was the d's and b's. I cant tell you how many times I messed that up.

Now current time, I fuck up when writing, read a helluva lot slower, and now, icing on the he cake, I cant fucking spell things when typing anymore.

I have to take extremely long breaks to try and type like a normal person without flip flopping the letters or putting in the wrong ones, and it doesn't even work.

It's a pain in the arse having to test out to see which letter is the right one, not to mention I am very sleep deprived and I wear coloured contacts with no astigmatism, as if normal text wasnt blurry and squiggly enough.

So please, tell me, what the fuck is going on, and why just now? Is it just because of quarantine? It is driving me up the goddamn wall. Thank you.

I'm not gonna vote because I'm no medical professional. But I think it's possible you have dyslexia of some sort. It's possible you just never got it checked out. I know some of my friends who had dyslexia and never had much problem in elementary but it started affecting their studies in middle school onwards, possibly because the words got harder.

In addition the fact that your sleep deprived may be the reason. When i'm sleep deprived my writing abilities goes down the shitter, let alone my thinking abilities.

I think you should try getting some sleep and practice writing journals or something as you may have just slipped out of shape. If its really worrying you maybe go see a doctor to see if you have dyslexia.

Get yourself an app that does a spellcheck, and grammar check.

Normal to have messy handwriting, I don't know about reading though.
