Is it normal my son wets himself?

my sister did this until she was eleven, she couldn't help it, she has a blatter disease. i'd be careful judging your son, it doesn't have to be his fault.

Also you could make him wear a diaper and tell him if he's going to act like a baby, you'll treat him like one as well.

I'd say.... sure let him wet himself. BUT he has to do his own laundry from now on.

And every time he ruins his pants / underwear from pee it comes out of his allowance.

That right there may be enough to make him change his mind about pissing himself for fun or attention. cos it's no longer fun if he has to fix it himself

Tell him that if it continues you will have to take him to the doctor for tests. When he asks what sort of tests will the doctor do, tell him blood tests ~ injections!!! The doctor might also send him to stay in the hospital but you wouldn't be able to visit coz you have to work etc.

Tell him you might also have to tell all his friends about it in case he goes to play at their houses ;o)

Tell him that you will only change him once, into his pyjamas and then it's off to bed ~ no matter what time it is with no dinner.

He might not be doing it on purpose. Find out if he's doing it on purpose first. If he's doing it on purpose, don't wash his clothes and make him buy his own clothes.

It's normal that he does it, but you shouldn't let him. I read that children usually stop at the age of seven, so you might want to do something about his habits. If it's not on purpose though, look up nocturnal enuresis to help you.

Are you sure he does it on purpose did he say that , maybe he is lying and maybe he can not help it also he is only seven ? maybe he can not help it try positive renfourcement , tell him if he trys really hard to not pee his pants you will give him a candy . He is a little kid do not be so harsh that he wets himself its not like he is 14 or 20 .

Was he dry at a very early age when little?

Ask him why he does it.

Yeh I still do it and I am much older then 7. I dont see this being a big deal. Keeps your crotch warm when its cold out.
