Is it normal my sister's friend dyes her hair?!?!

So you probably think I'm just asking if dying hair in general is strange lol but no. My sister is 6 and her friend is 7. Her friend used to have blonde hair but I noticed about 6 months ago when she was still 6 years old, her hair was blue brown. Now, when I saw her, I noticed her hair was dyed jet black. is it normal for a 6/7 year old to dye their hair? My mother and I asked my sister about this and my sister says her parents just don't care. I also notice her friend wears lots of makeup lately.

    My mom is a hair dresser and she always dyed my hair however I wanted it, even when I was little. I think the makeup is a little weird, she's probably just having fun though

    Well, I did bleach my hair using benzoyl peroxide when I was 10... I'm a brunette, so it turned out brassy...

    Not normal to me bit, as our society "progresses" it also seems to devolve in other ways. It seems to be a popular parenting style to have an extremely loose approach on raising children. I think that in many ways this can be easily abused to cover up the actions of lazy and irresponsible parents.

    Dyeing is general is not necessarily a bad thing. What concerns me in that regard is 1. The effect the chemicals could pose to her health, 2. Whether or not adult supervision is present during these dye jobs, which it probably isn't.

    I don't think that children should be allowed to go around looking mini-prostitutes. Next thing you know, she'll probably be wearing high heels and shortly cut/revealing clothing.
