Is it normal my partner makes me wear a remote vibrator at a family dinner?

Last weekend, we attended a family dinner, and my partner insisted i wear a remote-controlled vibrator.
We often went on walks, or to the cinema or did other stuff like meeting for cocktails with friends while using this kind of toy, but I somehow was terrified of the idea to wear it around family.

I have to admit, the pure fear of being discovered and how wrong it was combined into a very powerful stimulus. My partner was kind enough not to push me too far...not before I was sent to my room for some rest because I looked kind of ill and sweaty.

Now I wonder if it's normal to go that far? Mostly I am looking for input from other couples/people with experience with these toys, but anybody is welcome to chime in.

    The purpose of this toy to have some fun at public places without anyone noticing it directly. If you enjoyed it at a family dinner, then no problem. So in my opininion, subjectively it was not a case of going too far, you had fun, didn't you? Of course looking things objectively, eh a bit wierd, but as long as you enjoyed it, it's okay. Period.

    Hmm, well I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with that unless it made you uncomfortable. I know I wouldn't want to wear one around my family.

    Though I have been playing with one recently. One of my "fun" friends on skype made me wear it to the bank and back the other day. XD You're clearly much more confident with doing that than me, I was sweating bullets when I ran into someone I knew, haha.

      I can assure you, I have seen that show not even ONCE.
      I can't guarantee the same for my partner, but I would greatly doubt it.

    Have you watched "Secretary" by any chance? This makes me think of the "4 peas" scene.

    It would be OK, if it weren't for the way you phrased it - your partner "makes" you wear it? He (or she - I'm thinking she) "insisted"? The use of those words make it sound not OK at all! But you've made it a poll with fixed answers, presumably to avoid the dreaded "not normal"...

    Anyway, I'm hoping that these are just semantics, and the whole thing was mutual, in which case - sexy as hell, I might suggest it to my partner!

      I'm submissive. So yes, my partner "makes" me wear it, but not in a bad way. I find it quite enjoyable to be "made" to do things.
