Is it normal my mother is jealous of the time i spend with my boyfriend..?

I recently started dating my boyfriend, and we've been together for about 7 months and it's getting quite serious. I also moved away for college this August, and rarely come home but when I do, I want to spend most of my time with my boyfriend. My mother completely disapproves of this, probably due to the fact that she is a Christian, through and through and my boyfriend isn't. She claims that I care about him more than I care about her. (This is obviously not the case at all, I love my mother dearly) However, when I do stay home or suggest we go have lunch, she doesn't even pay attention to me! I get frustrated because she seems jealous of the time I spend away from her, yet she makes no effort to spend any time with me. Is her reaction towards my boyfriend normal?

    I'll translate ;)

It is difficult for parents when their little girl grows up and moves on.
Yes, tell her what you said in brackets up there. You love your mother dearly.
Try a little more to bring her into your life again. You obviously miss her as much as she misses you :(
Your life is normal, so is your dear Mom.
