I am a boy in high school and my mom found out that I was looking at women on the computer. She told me that I should be ashamed of myself and that I shouldn't waste my time on girls. The reason she gave was that she is a woman so she knows exactly what they are like. And she always reminds me that she knows what's best for me and that I always have to listen to her.

    That's some mommy dearest shit right there. She's being massively overprotective and possessive. You're supposed to be interested in girls, and you are by no means "wasting your time," nor should you be ashamed of yourself. Just don't get too wrapped up in looking at naked pictures on the internet for at least a few years; it can mess with your approach to girls in the real world and make it harder to figure out how to develop good relationship skills. But never feel ashamed.
