Is it normal my gut hasn't settled after antibiotics, 1 week later?

What the title says. I take probiotics and eat live yoghurt every day - just as I did before the antibiotics - but am still getting large amounts of smelly wind, a bloaty belly and acid reflux, which had been sorted out by the probiotics before.

Can someone tell me if this will settle down with time? ๐Ÿ˜”

        I dunno where you live, but it's available in many supermarkets. You could also try sauerkraut.

    Unfortunately ive read that antibiotics can scew up your stomach for a year or more after you stopped taking it. It's really not great and that's another reason why doctors try to prescribe antibiotics less often nowadays, but when you need it you need it... Your stomach should settle down eventually just be extra nice to it for now and don't eat stuff that triggers acid reflux.

    I just got off of them they suck ass. I was sick at the same time with some virus which made it worse. I dont remember anti biotics making me feel so weak when I was younger.

    You need to ask your doctor or pharmacist. It sounds like you have a serious upper GI imbalance. Don't try and treat yourself or just wish it away.

    took years for my gut to settle down after a course of antis. what really helped was kombucha.
