Is it normal my friend's friend's little sister said this?

My friend just told me that her friend's little sister who is 7 keeps insisting that she "chose" her biological Mother. She said she was in a very bright place with lots of light and there were lots of faces and she chose her to be her Mother. Is this crazy or what? My friend is dead-serious and I asked her Mother about it and she told me the same thing. This happened twice now. When she was 3 she said this for the first time and again at 7.

    I think there was a TV show centered around that premise.

    Actually this makes a lot of sense. We do pick who we are born to. Love will bond you with another person, so you will choose to be with that person again. This is why we are with the same people life after life.
