Is it normal my friend is too supportive of caitlyn jenner?

My friend Sal has been a huge fan of Caitlyn Jenner since her emergence early this year, but his support for her is going towards the brink of insanity. He mentions her in almost every conversation and won't stop emphasizing her "transition" and how much of journey it must be to transition from male to female. I visited his house the other day and i found a vanity fair hidden under his bed with a few stains on it. He's gotten so deleterious that he used one of my permanent markers to draw a vagina line on his balls*ck, so he can further understand her transition. I know this because I walked in on him drawing said line while fetching him some poptarts. I support Caitlyn Jenner as much as the next guy, but not like this. Is it normal?
