My female friend and I were going to the same party, but she didn't want to go alone, so she asked me to be her date for the night, I reminded her that I have a girlfriend, but my friend didn't seem to care. I only agreed because she showed up to my door in a short dress with her hair curly and in some sexy designer heels.

You should at least tell your girl to let her know your gonna do that for your friend, because if she finds out from someone else thats gonna look real bad.
For two single, platonic friends it would be ok and doesn't have to mean anything other than a night out.
But, I think your date really should have respected the boundary set by the fact that you have a girlfriend. She shouldn't have even asked you, imo. Maybe that was just a tactless error, or maybe she actually wants you for herself...
Are you that naive? She knows what she's doing and you know exactly what you're doing too. What's wrong not tagging your girlfriend along with you and this girl?

Anybody who answered this as just two friends enjoying each others company, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
She didn't show up to your door looking sexy because she wanted to make it clear she considers you as "just a friend". She most likely wants you to make a move on her AND she probably wants you more because you are "unavailable".
Stop assuming women are "sugar and spice and everything nice", women can be just as treacherous and just as sneaky as men can be when it comes to cheating and playing games with the opposite sex.
