Is it normal my family is keeping secrets from me?

I think something happened to my sister, but my family wont tell me. They have contacted the police and i am worried. Should i confront them and get in trouble or wait for them to tell me.

    It's tough, but it's probably best you wait - they are probably busy dealing with whatever it is right now. If they haven't told you by the time everything has subsided, then ask.

    If she's your sister then it's absolutely ok to ask them about it, BUT if you're not close to her then yeah, that'd be a little awkward.
