Is it normal my family are friends with my ex's?

This does not seem normal to me. My family is on extremely good terms with my ex's family. It can be quite bothersome to me sometimes. For example our mothers always chat and go for lunch. I haven't seen my ex in nearly 2 years, but her family is everywhere. What.

    I'm assume they met through you two. But obviously they hit it off and became friends. Just because you broke up doens't mean they have to. Seems normal to me.

    Sounds like my mom. She kept going out to coffee with my brother's ex after she dumped him.

    This is pretty weird when you think of it. I mean going to lunch like that? Well whatever I guess its much better then being bitter and having animosity.

      Nope. All happened after we were going out. It's pretty strange. I see them on a weekly basis usually.
