My daughter is 20 years old. She's in school living at home with me, my wife and her older sister. We had a cookout with some family in the area and after they left we were outside cleaning the grill, picking up trash, storing food, etc. I was squating down taking the propane tank out and my daughters were supposed to be covering the hot tub. My wife was whiping things down as we finished up. We were going to go see a movie and spend some time together because my daughters don't have school tomorrow, and my wife and I go in late.
Long story short as I was taking the propane tank out my daughter came behind me and kicked me in my balls. It was the worst pain I've felt in a long time. I've never been hit from behind but it hurt worse than from the front. My daughters (20&22) thought it was funny. I did not. My wife told them to go to their rooms and they did. I stayed outside in pain, so much pain that I actually threw up. After this happened I decided that I wasn't taking them anywhere because they don't deserve it. My daughter told me that I'm being irrational and that it was just a "joke." I tried to explain to her that she can't hit me there as a joke because it hirts and could cause damage. She didn't really seem to care. She said that her friends call it "tea bagging" and that its okay. Is this normal? I find it inappropriate for her to hit me there. Let alone kick me.

    No that's really not normal. And it isn't tea bagging either (But don't make me explain what it is).
    Your daughters seem to have a lack of empathy. Getting hit in the nuts is pretty much the worst pain a man can experience and I feel for you. I hope you have fully recovered.

      Except, OP, I'll put it a little more bluntly- your daughters are selfish twats who have really bad tastes in humor. You not taking them out is the least you could do. They should feel lucky you didn't tell them to find somewhere else to stay.

        Sure you can. You can see and hear the pain expressed by another person and understand that it's really f**king painful. Most humans are pretty good at that. If one of my loved ones gets hurt I often times care more about it then them.

    If it were me, she'd be out of MY house the next morning, apology or not!
    No discussion, no explanations, no second chances and she'd not be welcome in my house until she learned some respect for others. And if her sister thinks it's so damned funny, she'd be welcome to join her sister.

    You should have tit punch'd her, hurts pretty bad on girls, my sister and I used to do that move on each other. I would say its the equivalent to what your daughter calls... Erm tea bagging... But it won't make you throw up... The closer equivalent is a girls period, but the pain is spread over a week. Anyway when she bitches about that just say haha payback, plus interest. Or maybe she was already on the rag when she did this to you. Don't send her to her room, which is technically your room now, send her to the streets,it's about time she grow up a bit...

    Thats not what teabagging is. Teabagging is what they do in videogame to a defeated enemy. What they do is crotch over and move back and fourth over the opponents dead body.
