My daughter has turned into the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I now find myself nervous around her like a school boy. She is 18 and I am 35 (a single father). I can't really bring myself to give her any discipline or tell her what she can or can't do, I just feel too intimidated by her. Not only that she is a very confident, with a dominant personality, unlike myself. I think she has picked up on all of this and is taking advantage of me. She will take my car without asking, she will throw parties at my house, she will bring guys home and have sex without sneaking around. Sometimes she's so loud I'm afraid the neighbors will hear. I'm afraid to say anything. She just makes me feel weak. Is this normal?

    IIN may not be able to give the best advice, I'm sure there are some articles online that talk about good solutions, remember aswell, obviously there is something wrong with your relationship.

    I don't know what type of feelings you have for your daughter outside of a fatherly love, but you need to put those into the ground.

    You need to take lead of the situation.

    I would give kick her out myself. Give her a taste of life outside her comfort zone.

      I tried to do that once. I told her she had to move out. She just laughed at me and called me a bitch. Maybe she's right. If I can't find a solution soon she will have complete control of me and my house.
