Is it normal my cousin says things like this?

I met my cousin properly for the first time over a month ago
Ever since, we text every few days to once a week & sometimes she'll say she's been thinking of me even though we spoke few days ago..is this normal?
Today I text her & she said she was just going to text me as its been about a week, she said we have a spiritual connection.
She's 39 im 23f so its probably said in all innocence? Tbh I took a liking to her when I was much younger & at one stage she was meant to look after us but that never eventuated.
Obviously I don't know her very well so i shouldn't be quick to judge but to me, she's awesome, has a big heart & seems genuine. I like her the most out of all my family members.
