Anytime we are driving and he sees bikers, my boyfriend gets all scared and leaves in a hurry. He also does this with anybody who looks even slightly menacing like teenagers in hoodies or with piercings. I feel strange that Im not scared but he is...I feel like he couldn't protect me. I may have to protect HIM. IIN?
Yeah, he probably had a bad experience when he was younger and became traumatized.
Wow, that must be a bit embarrassing. Everybody is afraid of something now and then, but it's how one deals with the fear that determines someone's courage. Best not leave this boy as it's unlikely any other girl would stand for that. I can't see how he can live, ruled by his fears.

Teenagers, I can understand. Bikers, if they are like the Hell's Angels. If not, no. I think most bikers aren't up to any trouble. I don't think biker gangs are as big as they used to be. There's nothing bad about liking to feel the wind in your hair and being free on the wild side. I'm assuming that he either had a traumatic experience when he was younger or maybe, his family warned him to stay away from certain types of people.
I think how loud they are should be fuckin illegal. Its so annoying when a bunch of bikers go roaringby all slow. they aren't scary tho. Are ur bikis swinging chains and spiked bats or sommat?
I hate to say this but I feel like if a dangerous situation would happen he would act like a coward. And that is not a good quality in a man. Im a woman and if someone threatened me, I would fight back!
I think it's pretty normal to feel a devastating attraction to the type of man that would be protective enough to have your back like a boss Chuck Norris shark punching bastard, but c'mon, you don't really want to date someone that would haul of and punch people. It's a fine balance, and if your an adult who doesn't make a hobby of getting hammered and swearing at rednecks in bars...when does it even come up? In my opinion, strangers are nice for the most part, and I've never really had anyone go after me. True, your boyfriend sounds like a pussy, but 99% of the time, that wouldn't really matter.
