I have Been friends with this girl for years-im a boy just to clarify- and we have always been close. A couple months back we got drunk at my friends place and we didnt stop touching. We held hands nonstop and at one point we even kissed. The kiss wasnt anything super special but still it was a kiss. But the crazy thing is, is she has a boyfriend in which she is apparently in love with. Then she goes and gives me all of these signals. What is she doing? She's totally driving me crazy becuz the night she did that, i told her i started having feelings for this other girl. It's like she is trying to make sure i am only interested in her and not anyone else. But then after she does things like that, she acts as if they dont happen and then she focuses all her attention on her boyfriend-who i might add is a total loser.
Is this a normal relationship we got going?

    She's probably using you. For instance, if she's feeling insecure about her relationship with her bf, she has you to make her feel secure.

    If you're alright with being a rebound/being used, stick with it.

    All you can do is be a better friend that the "loser" she is already going out with. I have the same problem and thats all i can do...This girl Knows that i would do anything for her. And she would do the same for me. If anyone has any advise just reply under this.

    Any relationship can only be strengthened by honest and open communication. Confront her, and if she's not willing to be open about her feelings and tell you how she really looks at you, chuck her (as a friend) and walk away. Watch her as she comes running...

    She was drunk. God, you should see the things I do when I'm drunk! My husband, in the past, has had to go around after me apologizing to everybody I tried to get off with! Lol
    Some people are very friendly when they are drunk

    I agree with FocoUs. And probably when she heard that you started getting feelings for another girl, a part of her got a little jealous, and she thought she'd better jump on it. I doubt she's using you, but probably wants to almost own you, or feels like since you guys have been best friends for so long, she's gotta be the only girl in your life. She doesn't want another girl to take her place.

    I wouldn't go as far to say that your best friend is using you. Sounds like an instance of mind over body or mixed feelings to be sorted.

    She want's you whether or not she won't admit to you or herself.
