Everyone in my family looks terrible at a young age but then improve amazingly. I hope I never have this problem. :D
I am the opposite. I used to be very, very ugly when I was younger and have improved a lot! Seeing old pictures like that make me sad.
But you are 25, I feel like that's too young to lose your looks due to age related things like wrinkles and liverspots.
It's normal for people to look back at their past-selves and think they looked better when they were young. But a 6 years difference should not have much of an impact on your looks if you were beautiful before. Typically, if you look great when you are young you'll good when you're older.
What has changed so drastically over the past 6 years to make you look less attractive?
I look at photos of when I was a child, with not a care in the world, I was a cute kid, I don't know what the fuck happened.
How can you possible have lost anything you can't regain during six years?
Got fat? EXERCISE.
The comments surprise me. I'm 26 and I think I've aged noticeably in the last couple of years. I've always looked younger than I am but now I have lines and bags under my eyes and shit. You'll always be your own harshest critic when it comes to looks though. I'm sure you haven't aged as much as you think and still look lovely.
I'm 21 and I feel the same way from my pictures when I was 18. I know that's not a big difference but it is to ME. I think it's mostly because I wish I had a better life when I was 18 because I was so beautiful at that time and I didn't get to live those years to the fullest.
I'm 24 and I'm way better looking than I was when I was 19! I had no sense of style then, no confidence, and no poise. You really shouldn't have visible aging by 25 - I'd advise religiously applying sunscreen, using retinol at night, and vitamin c serum in the morning. And always cleanse, tone, and moisturise. That should keep you looking fresh til at least your late twenties.
I hate looking at photos of myself from ages 9-16. Well, I don't like photos of me now either.
I'm confused young lady. You're a young woman and you look at photos of yourself from just a few years ago as a young woman and things have changed? I honestly can't tell the difference between a 19 year old and a 25 year old and how much could you age in 6 years? I don't understand..
That's normal. I use to be more attractive when I was 18-21. Then I got fat. So I too, look at old pictures.
It's depressing, 2009, I was below average weight but wasn't scrawny, due to ju-jitsu I had pretty good muscle definition.
I was one of the only people in my year who had fully formed facial hair and one of the tallest I also fitted comfortably into an alternative yet somehow popular group
Then I stopped ju-jitsu, got anxiety and depression which caused over eating and here I am, lost a stone recently though and plan to carry on
You're gonna feel like shit when you hit 30. although I think women in their 30's are at their most attractive.
the early 20's should never be considered your prime.
