Is it normal little kids offend me with some of the things they say?

It's obvious that children are straight up and more honest about their thoughts than adults. Sometimes I really hate being around kids because they can say hurtful things eg "You're fat", "Your hair looks funny"
"Your eyes look weird".
The latter one was said to me today when I took my glasses off as she wanted to guess my age. I had no make up on either & because I'm blonde, i have blonde eye lashes that make my blue eyes look wishy washy :/ is it normal trivial things kids say , hurt me?

I strongly respect honesty. I am not afraid to be brutally honest with my thoughts whenever I state them. If you're a whiny little crybaby and get offended at the truth, then that's your problem, not mine. If someone asks me if they are fat, and they are, I will tell them they look like a beached whale instead of lying my ass off.

If your self worth can be shattered by the words of a child, you certainly can't blame the child. It's a hard world out there and you need to toughen up to survive. If you like what you see in the mirror, then fuck em all. If you don't, then change it.

Just enjoy their honesty and be honest back to them and treasure contact with small humans who haven't yet learned to censor what they say. You could always try saying honest but nice things back to them so they learn honesty doesn't always have to be about negative things.

If you can't do that, stay away from kids and just hang around with ordinary dishonest grownups

It's not really normal. They're naive little humans who haven't learned some of what is to know about the world. I have a gap in my teeth and my hair frizzes out sometimes. They might point it out, but I just laugh it off. This one time one went up to me and was all "WOW! You used to be really fat! Where did the rest of you go?!" I laughed my ass off. XD

Kids can be annoying. You'll have to get used to it or not be around them.
