Us conservatives didn't protest when obummer was in office or threaten to secede like big babies. Trump will be a great president because he is a gazillionare that knows how to make money. I think a lot of the dumb stuff he said was hot air.Also the liberal media was against him because they are funded by Clinton.Why can't people see that.

I'm not going to get into a "No, YOU'RE the sheep!" discussion today, as that's been pretty well covered by both sides, but I think I can explain why many of the protesters are upset, beyond simpleelectoral disappointment. Trump's rhetoric during the entire campaign was strongly xenophobic and misogynistic, and, whether he actually thinks that way or not, it's had a drastic effect on the already dangerous cross-cultural tensions in the country. Metaphorically speaking, he's stepped on the wedge already in the middle of the country to get to the white house. What liberals are concerned about is that he's going to walk the freedoms and social justice status quo back fifty years in the name of "Making America Great Again," and that is something we cannot abide.

Considering how things are, with so many out drawing on government welfare, others struggling to pay exorbitant fees for "ObamaCare", and how so many businesses either closed permanently, or laid off most of their staff, not to mention the 832 billion dollars for bailouts wasted, the massive tax increases, and you claim Obama is not a buffoon? A struggling middle class and an even poorer working class would disagree with that!
There is a reason the working class, and the majority of the middle class voted for Trump. 8 years of a socialist half-witted lawyer failed miserably, maybe a more conservative, successful businessman will be able to get things going again.
He is a bit of a showman, plus he is using a businessmen's approach to the issues, "start high, and negotiate" by starting outrageously high in his demands, he knows in the end, there will be negotiations and compromises made. In the end, he will get what he truly wants. It's a tactic I have used myself, mostly when selling stuff.
Obama sucks ass and has messed up this country so terribly that we are so lucky to have had Trump win the election. Liberals like to piss and moan when things don't go their way but if conservatives complain, watch out! Look at Hollywood celebrities. A vast majority of celebrities and TV stations are liberals. Just look at SNL, how many times have they made fun of the presidents who are republicans? A lot of times! How many times have they done skits poking fun at Nobama? Very few.
Im an Asexual who is poverty stricken and was born here legally, I was raised Christian. I probably not high on his priority list. Just going to try to remain inconspicuous if stuff does get out of hand.

I refused to vote for any presidential candidate. I did cast my ballot in the congressional races, and also for a representative to the State legislature.
Please don't feel sorry for me. I steadfastly maintain that a vibrant private sector is the greatest social asset any nation can have. Public management of infrastructure, and education have a lessened but positive impact on national productivity. Do not expect my acceptance of any argument touting idealism or nebulous principles. Social science depends upon measurable data; emotional judgments are of little value. Any questions?
