Is it normal leader has crush on me and acts really funky around me?
Okay so he's actually a leader as in, a section leader of the store I work in. He is in control of an entire section of this store so he's almost like a manager because he has quite a lot to handle.
Anyway, this guy comes in, acts all funky with everyone but he follows me...a lot. So at first, I was like ya okay, it's nothing but then I realized..oh snap, I am 99.9% sure he's crushing on me.
He's super super dorky, embarrassingly so.
Here are some things he's done:
1.
He'll drop what he's SUPPOSED TO be doing and come up next to me, ask me questions when I'm literally HELPING a customer. Is that not normal or what?
I'll be talking, helping a customer and when she turns her head, he'll say "hey Kate, how's your day going?" and then proceed to tell me something random about his section WHILE the woman starts talking over him. I'm like honestly, this is embarrassing.
2.
Then, the MAIN head manager comes over, is eyeballing me to make sure everything is going well with my work and he comes over and he'll stand a foot from my face and be like, "do you need help with that? i can help you with that if you need help! how's it going anyway? is it going well right now? because if you need anything, i'm here " and then he'll laugh, awkwardly. While this happened, the main head manager came up and asked me what I needed help with! So I said "it's fine" and he just stared at me while I tell her that so she assumes I dunno what and gets slightly annoyed.
3.
When he leaves, he always, always, ALWAYS comes over to me very closely, about a foot from my face and says, "I'm leaving now but if you need help, you can ask me anything before I go!" and I said "no, it's okay" but he's like "you sure? Okay well I'll be here tomorrow oh but you're not in tomorrow, okay well I'll see you on --- day" I'm like "okay, bye" then walks off but then turns around and says "have a good rest of your day!"
I don't know what the hell to do because my manager is annoyed with me and now one of my coworkers is annoyed with me because she and everyone else call him rude but she sees him being really nice to me. I feel like the bad guy here! They all roll their eyes when he comes up to me but this one coworker who is besties with one of the other managers is hating on me now! All for what? for some nerdy guy not giving me an attitude but giving her an attitude? Not my problem, am I right? Is that normal?
Is any of this normal?!?!
