Is it normal job dilemma

so I worked at the same place six years.i am the longest ranking employee they have had. It's a seasonal position.I don't make much money but I take what I can get. They gave me a raise but its not that great. They changed my schedule and told me I was supposed to be there the other day. I am mad no one told me this. I am mad they didn't discuss this with me when we had our meeting last week. My new schedule would mess up my other jobs. I don't want to mess up my relationship with my boss who is my best friend and everyone I know but I need to take care of myself too. If I quit , I will lose a lot of my friends.and what if my other jobs don't pan out.

If your 'boss' is supposedly your 'best' friend, how is it he doesn't know that changing the schedule will screw things up for you?
Just because one leaves his place of employment, does not mean he loses his friends.
Something is off about your story.

Put yourself before your friends. If you quit you can take care of yourself and still make new friends but if you stay you will struggle with money and be with your friends...
If I were you I would quit.

Tell your boss that this schedule change will affect your ability to attend your jobs.

If he is a good boss, he will either do the following, revert you back to your original schedule or make sure that pay rise is sufficient so you don't need to work elsewhere.

    I wish you luck.
