I have lost my virginity last year in december, its almost a year that i am sexually active. Me and my partner had privilege of doing sex whenever we wanted and we used to do it a minimum of twice a week. On holidays mostly daily. Now its been a month we are away from each other and every night i feel an urge for sex. So what i wanted to ask is, is it really that hard to control sex desire once you lose virginity? If not please explain me the ways to control myself coz i am really freaking out.

    Both states (virgin and non-virgin) are identical when it comes to wanting sex. When you're a virgin you can't stop thinking about it, the mental idea of having sex. When you actually have sex and know what happens, the physical idea of having sex now turns you on.

    Either way, they're both hormonal and normal. Maybe send your partner a text to let them know you're thinking about them? Phone sex can be a nice release when you're far away from each other. Helps with not cheating too.

      Thanks for the great advice. But i am single now, thats why i asked this question, we broke up last month, i stated it wrongly maybe, away from each other means break-up.

          I am trying hard on that, but it isn't helping me, infact i am getting heavily tired and also a wandering brain.. I don't know what is happening, i think i am not fully out of her. i should give myself time to recover.

        Possibly a combintion of missing their company and the fact that now that you know what it's like thinking about it is getting you all bothered. :P

    I have heard from people who have had this problem. They said they could not stop after they finally got sex and just kept wanting it very badly after they had it once. Try thinking about something bad. Not really sure what to tell you about it though.

    My suggestion to supress the urges. Masterbate? Sex isn't always accessible. If masturbation is exceptable in your relationship, then do that as often as you need it.

      It's the same with masturbating, so it wouldn't make to huge of a difference. Just for your curiositys sake. It's like trying to stop masturbating
