I'm not kidding here, lately I've been feeling real animosity toward him. We're together 10+ years but I feel best when I'm not around him. I look for excuses not to be home and though I don't intend to cheat or anything I dislike him most of the time. Do a lot of you feel animosity toward your long time partner? What if it's not plausible to leave?

    There's always a way to leave, all it takes is resolve. But your relationship sounds so wonderful, why would you give up all that for anything better?

    There will be animosity in relationships, but not it isn't normal for that the be the reigning emotion. 10 years is a long time, either move past the hate to apathy like all "successful" married couples, or cut your losses and move on.
