I'm kind of a dick sometimes and I feel like a lot of times no one corrects me. My best friend never corrects me either and I feel like sometimes I deserve to be yelled at.

    Guys are dicks. Girls are bitches. It just depends on our level of dickery/bitchery. Some have developed more advanced ways of hiding it. You choose to openly admit that you're a dick.

    We all have an inner-dick. Most people try to control it; some give it free-reign. The latter generally aren't very popular.

    You apparently have the insight to recognize that your behavior can be dickish at times, so that's good.

    The next step is to learn to recognize when you're about to act like an asshat, and stop yourself. You're capable of knowing when you're behaving badly, so playing-up and waiting for others to slap you down possibly comes across as immature attention-seeking.
