Is it normal if she wasn't my cousin, i'd say i was flirting??

Well I met my cousin for the first time few weeks ago at a funeral sadly. It was a sad time, but I was very glad to have met my cousin. We were purely strangers but we just clicked so well. I was very nervous meeting new people but with her, I felt we had great banter. She told me where she lived and I said things like "oh that's not far at all! I'll come stalk ya"! We were all laughing. I was with my brother & mum too. She asked how am I going to stalk her? I said idk, I'll just come find u some how! XD She said I was funny! My mum said well u should exchange numbers and my cousin said I was waiting for u to offer. My mum joked it was like a dating site! It hard to word how it all went writing this post. It flowed very well though, and now we text often. I just feel I was able to be myself without acting to much like a fool & that if it wasn't my cousin, it was a good flirting technique? IIN? I can't do this around a real crush as I get to nervous unfortunately!.
