Is it normal if i wish my family was more fun?

I'm happy to have a normal family first of all who love and support each other. However, there are often times where I wish they were more outgoing. I want to make memories not only with friends and strangers but also with my family. Sometimes I feel like I'm too outgoing for them and I just look like "the rebel."

    I can't really describe my family as a whole. My father is real immature and is always doing crazy things. He lives in another world. My mother is the serious one, she knows everything. They go well together. Can I say that we are funny? At times, yes.

    Very normal. My family is boring beyond belief, and thats coming from a person that has been called boring himself, lol. Of course I wasnt really given a chance to show my wild side, but thats a different topic. Some older generations are too conservative to let go and have fun. Thats one reason I dont really speak to my family. I have nothing in common with them. Try to coax them out of their shells a little bit, and little by little you may be able to have more fun with them.
