Alright so, when me and my cousin were around the age of 5, we would mess around with each other, not in a sexual way just the way kids do when they are young and curious about what a penis looks like and visa versa. Anyways, recent time, I'm 18 and he is now 19 and he has been staying with me for a while as he has an internship by where I live for the next few months. We have become really close lately, not in that way really, more like we are becoming really close in a friend way but with that I get those thoughts like what if we hooked up, and I sometimes get really horny thinking about us and the fact we kinda did stuff when we were kids. Would it be "normal" or not wrong if I were to hook up with him or have sex with him, if he is my first cousin, but NOT blood related, as he was adopted as a child? Thank you!

    My guess is your cousin probably doesnt't want to hook up with you. Also it is not normal to mess around with your cousin when you were young unless maybe you grew up in a trailor park somewhere.

      Childhood experimentation is extremely normal, they are curious about everything, when I say "mess around" I'm refering to we saw each others parts and laughed and then we were done with it, kids don't think much of that stuff. I would appreciate if you wouldn't be rude about the "trailor park" comment but thank you for the comment about him probably not wanting to hook up with me, i'll take note of it!

    if they aint related why does it really matter. i mean i wouldnt pesonally do it but i dont see why it would matter if two non blood related wanted to.

    yes it is. I started fucking mine when we were in our 30s.     I had a second-cousin by marriage or something like that, who liked me when we were teens and always wanted us to go out. We never did though, it would have just felt somehow creepy to me. But its your life.

    I wouldn't say normal.

    As for wrong, I think that should be judged by the potential consequences, rather than a based on whether or not something is sexual and therefore bad.
    You could ask yourself some questions regarding the matter. E.g., would it affect your relationship with your and his parents negatively (assuming it's made public)? How would it affect your relationship to your cousin in the long run? What if someone found out?

    It doesn't sound like you're head over heels in love with him, and if that's true, it's probably less potentially troublesome/less bothersome finding someone else to mess around with.

    I can't see how the adoption detail is important unless you were to have kids.
