Is it normal if i'm not easily amused?

I do have a sense of humor or imagination plus I always find a little bit of humor in a situation. But when it comes to others or other things that might amuse most people, I'm just not impressed or it just doesn't get to me. Basically like "that was really funny to you? Hmm I guess..." Or "that really intrigued you? It wasn't THAT great." Idk sometimes I feel like others feel the same way I do but they know how to fake it better than me. I'm just not amused by what people typically find amusing. Sometimes I even get shocked when they do. Sometimes I think I missed something but I usually get the whole point and still nothing. In a way I wish I was easier to amuse so I can possibly feel what everyone else is feeling but at the same time, why would I want to be amused by such things? It just doesn't seem worth it.

    I'm kinda like that too, I don't really get why people laugh at what is usually laughed at, but I am easily amused by things that aren't supposed to be that funny...

      Haha sames ! Sometimes I wanna laugh when I'm in a depressing environment like a funeral... No disrespect but I'll just start temebering things or imagine things and I'm lucky to be able to hold it in

    Always try and meet new people. Luckily I share quite a few friends with the same sense of humor. Otherwise I'm usually in your boat wondering what the fuck I'm doing there.

    Im sorta like that. Theres a show my boyfriend finds HILARIOUS! He rolls over and dies of laughter . But i just dont see it. Everyone cried at my fathers funeral and when this soldier walked up to me and looked me in the face.. i bursted into laughter cause i wondered if he was allowed to grow a mustache. and had to hold my breath to stop.. i used to laugh while gettin in trouble as akid, or be the one to laugh wen someone hugs me and tells me their pets died even tho i dont find it funny. Im not sure if thats what u were talking about though.. I just know i laugh at inappropriate times. And usually when everyone else laughs, im the one who's just looking around like "wait, that was funny?"

      Lol yeah sometimes I'll bust out laughing at something people didn't find that funny or vice versa: people will laugh so hard at the most basic "funny" things and I'm like okay its not that funny.

      Another thing is yeah I have a lot of things in my head so when I'm in a sad environment, and I come across something in my head or even in person thats hilarios itll be hard for me to hold it in.

    It's called a subjective sense of humor. You won't find some things funny that a lot of people do.

    I agree, try and explore what exactly stimulates you. The same repetitiveness will eventually get boring. I'm constantly meeting new acquaintances, because people are so predictable once I've explored their diminishing character. There is a definite downside to this; no friends.
