Is it normal i wish there was a pill i could take so i didn't have to sleep

i wish i could just take a pill so i never had to sleep. i wish this pill made me not feel tired and in the morning i would feel totally energized without sleeping at all the night before. the nighttime hours are very productive for me and i prefer to stay up anyways, i just hate not being able to get out of bed the morning after and crashing during the day.

    • sleep is a waste of time, we do it every single day, but what's the point of it really? so we're not tired the next day, so we can get up tomorrow and go back to work or school, so that day can turn to night and night can turn to day, so that summer turns to autumn turns to winter turns to spring...it's all an endless cycle that is virtually pointless. this has all happened before and will continue to happen into the unforseeable future. i say FUCK IT...this isn't real life. we're trapped in an eternal mortal cycle...i wish for transcendental enlightenment so i can abandon this hollow shell of a body behind and embrace the next realm

        Sleep is as close as we get to enlightenment. Sleep helps dive into our brains and understand things that have or haven't happened, as well help prepare for us for foreseen and unforeseen situations. It also helps our bodies recover from trauma in that it relaxes our whole bodies completely and let's us concentrate on healing ourselves. Sleep is one of five of the most important functions of our daily lives. The other four are breathing, eating, waste removal, and moving.

    There is a way to sleep only three hours a day, it's called a uberman sleep cycle. If you're not familiar with it you might want to google it. It's impractical for most people but for workaholics like us it's very interesting.

    • This is right. Drugs can make someone stay up for days with terrible consequences. OP, I've seen quite a few people get addicted to uppers and they go insane after being up for a few days and have terrible with drawls when they don't get more. Unless you want to peel skin off your face while watching out the window for cia agents stay away from hard drugs.

              actually alcohol and herroin are the most dangerous drugs out there, meth and amfetamin can be disgussed. It deffinitly breaks down your body but it's not nearly as dangerous as the two drugs listed above.

    Try amfethamin then, it'll keep you awake for one night. If you'd like to stay up longer you just take some more. The consequences are weight loss, and over time you may start to act differently and irrational. But do it no more than once a week and you'll be fine. Expect to sleep 12 hours after it has passed through you body though, and feel like shit the day after, plus not being able to eat for two days. Good luck.
